  1. 1. Do you want to see this in model form, preferably as a kit?

    • Yes- I'd love it!
    • No- Not really my thing!
    • No- (Dripping with sarcasm) I'll wait for Revell's latest '57 Chevy!

I think it would be a good idea as I have seen these units used in the Pacific northwest for eveything from Garbage trucks to shop trucks for logging outfits. Right now there is one which was used as a shop truck for sale on the hill above my house. they would be a welcome addition to the model truck market.

I'll be the first one to get the New Transtar (or whatever it's called) from Moebius !

It will be all new with an Old Style .

You mean Lonestar, right? Yeah- I'll be right in line behind you!

Wouldn't mind this one, either:

The RXT, kind of a diet CXT.

Not really interested in the giant pickup thing but I'd go for the second one, as the cab should be the same as the 7400 I have at work.

The Lonestar from Moebius isn't too far away. There have been test shots seen.

I'm working on an NGV cab, (Navistars name for that cab). I'm starting with a standard cab, with a 4000 hood ( RXT style), and then a 7000 series (CXT, the yellow one). Its also the base of the Prostar. The MXT (black one) is a civillian version of what Navistar is building for military contracts. The RXT, to my understanding, has been discontinued. The CXT is a 7400 4x4, with a Ford bed on it.

Dougs picture of the Lonestar is the first Lonestar delivered by Navistar, to an o/O for Midland. He was able to get that shot on one of his runs, as he is a Midland driver.
