Chuck Most Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Am I the only guy who'd like to see one or both of these in kit form?
george 53 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Wow, 6 whole votes an ain't nobody but you an me made a comment? I think it's cool personally, but it'll be only when hell freezez over you gonna see somethin THAT cool!
RJWood Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 This beast would look cool towing a cigar boat & trailer.
muleskinner Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I think it would be a good idea as I have seen these units used in the Pacific northwest for eveything from Garbage trucks to shop trucks for logging outfits. Right now there is one which was used as a shop truck for sale on the hill above my house. they would be a welcome addition to the model truck market.

Guest 59elcamino Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I'll be the first one to get the New Transtar (or whatever it's called) from Moebius ! It will be all new with an Old Style . ML
chuckyr Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I'd rather have accurate class 8 modern tractor trailer rigs like the Pro Star and Lone Star, but too each his own.
trick my mixer Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I would rather that they spend their time on up to date class 8 truck or trailers. These look like something yuppies would drive!!!
falcongeorge Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 sooner have my armpit hair set on fire. Ugh!
RodneyBad Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Heck, I know I'ld love to see a kit of one. or even two
Towmaster Dave Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 The yellow cab would be perfect for a tow truck, just like the one i drive at work.
disabled modeler Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Id like to see them....It would be great to see some all new and oldies added to the shelves

ML You mean Lonestar, right? Yeah- I'll be right in line behind you! Wouldn't mind this one, either: The RXT, kind of a diet CXT.

MICHAEL COLE Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 i want the yellow truck,R the silver one just for the cab and hood and frount bumper
Aaronw Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Not really interested in the giant pickup thing but I'd go for the second one, as the cab should be the same as the 7400 I have at work.
89cxsport Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I'd like to have the yellow one as a model. Be pretty cool to use as weekend toy hauler.
cargostar Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 The Lonestar from Moebius isn't too far away. There have been test shots seen. I'm working on an NGV cab, (Navistars name for that cab). I'm starting with a standard cab, with a 4000 hood ( RXT style), and then a 7000 series (CXT, the yellow one). Its also the base of the Prostar. The MXT (black one) is a civillian version of what Navistar is building for military contracts. The RXT, to my understanding, has been discontinued. The CXT is a 7400 4x4, with a Ford bed on it. Dougs picture of the Lonestar is the first Lonestar delivered by Navistar, to an o/O for Midland. He was able to get that shot on one of his runs, as he is a Midland driver.
cargostar Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Heres a couple pics I took a while back. The MXT was a prototype, that International drove over from the plant.
Sergey Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) I would like to see those in scale, at least the yellow one (the CXT). Edited February 27, 2010 by Sergey
Blake Rogers Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 That black one sort of looks like a Hummer. it's the answer to the hummer by international
cargostar Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Its actually designed to replace the Hummer... Military eXtreme Truck
