Mooneyzs Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Hello Everyone!!! I was finally able to put the last details on this kit and it is completed . So nice to complete a kit after being away from the hobby for a good 10 to 12 years. Here are some pics that I took today..... and by the way don't mind the weeds in the background its been raining here in AZ Edited July 9, 2017 by Mooneyzs
Blake Rogers Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 MOON!!!!!!!!!!!! that is a great ride man everything came out so well
Mooneyzs Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 Thanks you Blake... I am really happy with how it came out. I was hoping that the rear was going to sit a little lower but once I got the interior tub in it, it seems it wasn't as low as I had planned for it but I still like how it came out. Its funny how after you finish a kit you think of a couple more things you should of done to it while building it...lol
nails3825 Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Looks killer! Those rims are perfect and the color couldn't be better
Guest Sickfish Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Excellent execution Chris, well done mate! I bet you're over the "moon"?! Gotta love those nice pegasus rims ..pity the tyres don't have any sidewall detail Chris i don't think you could've got it to sit any lower in the back without tubbing it. The stance it has is perfect, don't beat yourself up about it. Sometime's too low really is too low Cheers & get going on your next build already!! Cliffo!
MrObsessive Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Now that is lookin' mighty nice!! To me the stance is perfect!
Mooneyzs Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Thanks guys on all of the nice comments. It means alot to me. I am happy with the stance I just wish I could of had the rears tuck just a little like in my original pics of the car that I had in the "on the work bench" section. I am also very happy with going with these Pegasus rims, I felt they gave me the perfect look I was wanting. This was a very fun build for me. Cliffo... I have a 32 Rat Rod that I have posted progress on in "on the work bench" and I hope to get some new pics of it up soon, plus a few other kits that were started over 12 years ago, 2 Drag kits that I am itching to complete now.

Railfreak78 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 My friend it's beautiful! I can't wait to see it up close and personal someday. Fantastic job!
whale392 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Gotta say, for being away for 10-12 years, you do better work than I do and I have been in it for the last 10-12 years! Outstanding build and it looks great.
gilsdropshop1 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 great job on your wagon love the stance and color too!

Mooneyzs Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Hey Guys, thanks again for all of the kind words. I appreciate them. Brian.... I am hoping to make it out to the Desert Scale Classic in April. I will have to download a pic off my cell phone that I took of a Real Magnum Wagon which was down the stree from my parents house when I had Visited them when I was in Cali for Christmas last year. It is what gave me the inspiration to pick up this kit and build it.
janositamas Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Nice job, I love it, both the color and ride height is perfect!
MyBradKeselowski Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Killer looking rims, are they from the kit?
Mooneyzs Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Thanks guys.... Kaseykahne... The Rims are Pegasus #2301 "T's" 23" and as promised here is a pic of the wagon that gave me the inspiration for this build. I took the pic with my cell phone as I was walking my dog out in California.....Every day as I walked my dog dog around the block at my parents I would see this wagon and just loved the look and stance which is why I build my kit the way I did.
Peter Lombardo Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I have to agree with everyone else...it looks great! Perfect color, stance and wheels...it looks great. Very well done.
Janne Herajärvi Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Very cool! Those wheels are right on home there and stance is perfect
Tony T Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Nice build! You really captured your inspiration nicely. I like it a lot!
