B) well, what a coincidence!

The prototype class is good this year, even though Audi ain't in it. They were right, the GT class this year is the one to watch, nothing like 8-9 manufactures and factory supported cars battling it out. :o

Some great racing in the first hour already! Wish Speed would just keep it on for the 12 hrs. But, I suppose we need to watch NASCAR qualifying a 4th time, as well as more practice......

Streaming in 15minutes from the web while I work in the model room.

Unusual screw-ups by the Corvette team.

Yeah, I am not sure what is going on with those guys. It doesn't look like a veteran team at all.

Yeah, they need to stop fooling around with each other and work as a team. B)

Peugeot taking the win, not surprising AT ALL but still love the Aston, still has the best sound.

The GT class is still the best racing and well, you all know who won!! :D YES! and nice to see the BMW's do well, good competition for the Ferrari's

I just can't wait to see them run 458s next year ;)

According to the announcers the other tems in GT said that the Corvette's were just playing with them because they were so fast. Maybe they want to avoid being "regulated" out of being competitive so they crashed out once they knew they were faster than "stink".

Bad luck for Flying Lizards, they probably could have battled Ferrari for the win. The were the only other car on the same lap as Risi then they were taken out.

At leat Porsche still had two class wins.

Let's see them 458 GTs.

No surpise, but Peugeot can finally tick off that 12 hrs at Sebring box. I guess they have a new secret weapon in the pipeline.

I wonder what is up with Audi? Too bad they didn't run at Sebring.

I think Peugeot can do it again in June.

Spent the day w/the same friends having a "Sebringpalooza" that will be together in June for LeMans; got the body together and ready for paint for my "Lucybelle" Testa Rossa LeMans build this year, and also did body prep on another white Ferrari (612 OTO that will have 20" Challenge wheels).

The Peugeots sure looked good, dunno why the 'Vette's were so spastic in pit lane. Anyone who thinks Ferraris are not reliable can look at their race and street history...and look what happened to Jaguar...they do deserve the "unreliable" moniker.

Great race, but the end wasn't nearly as exciting as some of the others we've known from Sebring, Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca...

The new Audi is fugly.

Ferrari's are much better than they were, and they were almost always good at the track if they were a factory team. The only other people that had success with them until recently was Pro Drive.

Cracked cylinder head that earily on. Sounds like the same problem many of their recent street cars have.

What happened with that Ferrari that burned up?

It burnned up. :D

Not really sure but it was some kind of catastrophic failure, they kept saying engine, it had a noise for a long time that got really loud right before going into fireball mode.

But apperently it was still running while on fire, because Scott said he was going to try and make it back to the pits, but said, "Then it would have really been burt up." So he just looked for the first guy with a fire extingusher.

Never did find out what exactly it was.

It was a pretty good race. The GT class was definitely the class to watch. To bad for the Lizards. Love that Gulf Aston Martin. I guess they all cant end like last years. I looks like it could be a great GT season. I really liked that Speed ran the live stream on the web while the TV had to go to NASCAR. I sure hope they do the same thing for LeMans. The Aussie Supercar race was good today as well. Somebody finally broke Wincup's win streak. What I don't understand is if you know that by not putting tires on the car Saturday cost you the race, why would you do the same thing on Sunday? Do they have a limit on the sets of tires you can use.
