I've gone back and reedited the old photos and uploaded them to the topic once again. This should be the last time I have to rescue this topic from the PhotoBucket Monster.

Thanks.

You should crack into it, it's really a great kit to build. I had a lot of fun with it.

Looks terrific David. Can't go wrong with black and red....like my wife always says, "the only color on a vehicle is BLACK!!"  Between our daughter and the wife and me, we own 4 black vehicles.

Thank you Mike.

While I agree that black cars do look cool, where I live here in Phoenix, they're hot. Waaaayy too hot. Here in the Desert Southwest, people tend toward lighter colors for their cars with the most common colors being white and silver.

When I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in Phoenix in 2017, I couldn't believe what a high percentage were black (mine is metallic black)...the selection at the dealer were all black or white (I hate white).   I remember going to my neighborhood car wash on a Saturday and most of the SUVs going through were black....Acuras, Jeeps, Mercedes MLs, Audi Q5s, BMW X5s, etc...had I stayed in AZ I would have hunted down a different color like dark red or brown, but I was in the process of moving to Ohio and in a hurry as my old Jeep was dying.

Totally agree with ya. I happened to be in Phoenix a few years ago for 2 days and it just so happened I got to experience a severe rain and dust storm. I thought the world was about to end.?

Phoenix. The world's most unsustainable city- a monument to Man's arrogance.
