Corvette.Jeff Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 im stuck on my jeep build,if youve built one(any kind) post a pic!!! heres where mines at....... does anybody know what kit this while im at it??? everything was molded in yellow. another pic... thanks,Jeff
Jordan White Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 'Tis the Revell '77 Jeep CJ-7. Since it was molded in yellow, it must have been an older issue. The one I got was molded in white. I built mine like the one from the movie St. Elmo's Fire.
revshag Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 It's not a CJ-7, but here's a Grand Cherokee I did. It's a replica of someone's 1:1 car. I scratchbuilt the running boards.
RodneyBad Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Monogram Jeep done along time ago. I think I was in a Decal phase
Greg Cullinan Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Please no more ideas,I already have a hundred or so I haven't got to
59 Impala Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Well, here are a few of my Jeeps. First up is Nellybelle A CJ-5 with a blown 350 Chevy in it. Replica of one I drove on Okinawa My Jeepster work horse I also have one CJ-7 but I can't find any pictures of it at the moment. Dan
Joe Handley Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) They're not styrene or CJ's, but here's two of the last three Jeeps I've worked on The third would be my daily driver Cherokee but that was when Dad and I did front brakes and u-joints a couple months back.................... MicroNitro Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 (edited) Here are a couple of my Jeep builds and a couple more in the works. Another Rubicon Hosted on Fotki I have not seen the Tomb Raider Jeep Wrangler Rubicon before. I have been looking for something like it for years to do a copy of the jeep I drive every day. Is it a die cast and what scale is it? Edited February 8, 2011 by MicroNitro
george 53 Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Jim, I used to see them at Target, in the die cast toys. they're 24th or 25th scale if i remember correctly. But that was awhile ago, and I'm NOT sure if they're even still in production.
gray07 Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Great looking jeeps, but got a question Joe Handley, i never seen that body style cherokee in plastic or metal, can you tell me more about it, i been looking for that body style, thanks.....darrin

MicroNitro Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Jim, I used to see them at Target, in the die cast toys. they're 24th or 25th scale if i remember correctly. But that was awhile ago, and I'm NOT sure if they're even still in production. Thanks George, now I know what to look for.
Wheels Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I have not seen the Tomb Raider Jeep Wrangler Rubicon before. I have been looking for something like it for years to do a copy of the jeep I drive every day. Is it a die cast and what scale is it? It is a 1/25 Diecast. I picked up a couple at a model show/ swap meet. They're out of production right now. They have great tires and wheels on them.
Joe Handley Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Great looking jeeps, but got a question Joe Handley, i never seen that body style cherokee in plastic or metal, can you tell me more about it, i been looking for that body style, thanks.....darrin They're both Proline Racing's Lexan 1992 Jeep Cherokee bodies made to fit the Axial SCX10, and they now make a couple '92 Comanche P/U's to fit the "Honcho" Tacoma cabbed, bedless p/u version of the SCX10.
