Customizer Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 I only used the AMT '29 body for this one, everything else is from the '32 Phantom Vickie. I cut the dash from the Vickie and mounted it in the '29 so the DuVall windshield would fit right. I recessed the back plate and opened the trunk. There's a fuel cell and battery box in the trunk. I cut apart the front steering and made it posable. The colour is PPG Imron blue. Comments welcome. Ron.
Chuck Most Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Nicest '29 A Street Rod I've seen in a very, very long time. Looks way better than the Phantom Vicky that spawned it!
Bernard Kron Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Great craftmanship and gorgeous finish. The Phantom Vickie frame is a realy nice modern chassis with great detail. I'll have to check my stash to see how well it fits under the AMT '29 roadster body. Anything you can tell us about what it took to mate the two?The fit looks quite precise on yours. Thanx for sharing!
Paul Payne Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Beautiful roadster- love the color and how you made the working steering!
Dragonhawk1066 Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Wow, this is an old post! But what a beautiful looking Hot Rod!!
