BHarrison Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 This is a 1969 Camaro SS 396 with the Aluminum head (L78) 396 option and Yellow Houndstooth interior. It was made from the RM Z28 and SS Convertible kits. It has FULL paint fading and inspection markings per the Camaro Restoration Guide and has had the trunk opened as well as the grille. The Color is PPG Daytona Yellow and the Interior is actual CARS Inc. Yellow made for restoring these 1:1 cars, with Scale Motorsport upholstery patterns. It has scaled down trunk paint and side marker details in the trunk along with jack and instructions. It has a MCG Photoetch set also. This one has also been done for a few years just wanted to post some stuff sine I am new here. Thanks for looking!
Guest old man Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 YOU DID A OUTSTANDING JOB ON THIS ! NICE DETAIL
Danno Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 WOW! That is BEAUTIFUL! Excellent job, Bryan. It looks too real! Thanks for sharing that build with us. Welcome aboard!
BHarrison Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks for the compliments. I build real cars too and my father and I rebuilt his Yellow Houndstooth car so reference material was pretty handy.
jeffs396 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Welcome to the best model car site on the planet Bryan! Awesome work you do, and a wide variety of subjects!

crazyjim Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Holy cow! What a gorgeous job you did. Great details. I guess I'll have to add you to my hate list (actually it's a jealous list). Terrific build.
bigmikevee Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Hey Bryan, Welcome aboard, just wanted to say hello, this is just a great place, lots of great modelers and great models, you're gonna like it here!! Also wanted to compliment you on your Camaro, very, very nice, looks clean as a whistle, details just set this one off, and you sure know how to take a good picture!! Wow, just looks sharp, hope you have fun here, let's see some more, and thanks for posting this one. Mike
vizio93 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Welcome Bryan, and what a awesome looking Camaro you built !!! I can't wait to see some more of your builds in the future
Jim Gibbons Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Wow. It was one of those mouth agape moments. Stunning work. My second car was a Daytona yellow '69 (base 327), but with a black vinyl top and black interior. Welcome to the board, and looking forward to seeing more of your fine work.
Bruno Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Awesome! That's the best '69 Camaro build I've seen
BHarrison Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 Thanks again for the compliments guys. You are waaay too kind.
Guest Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Hands down, one of the nicest builds of this kit I have ever seen. One complaint, on your battery cables, the tabs on the cable ends should wrap around the cables. Incredible work!!
Hawk312 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Nice work! Where did you get the wheels and tires??
pharr7226 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) Welcome aboard Bryan. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor... complete with dealer prep. The engine detail is fantastic. Edited August 18, 2010 by pharr7226
W-409 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 This one is very nice, looks that you are posted pictures from your 1:1 Camaro! It looks very autentic with 1:1 cars and that detailing is SUPER!!! This is very cool, that steering wheel is just ordered from Summit racing, right...? No, this is simply cool!
LunaticFord Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I wasn't going to check this one out, as I'm a Ford guy and can be a little bigoted sometimes, but WOW, I'm glad I did.
BigEdsGarage Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Incredible build! Well thought out and executed with incredible detail. Very, very nice.
