Here's the latest. I bought this as a hardtop but I already built one as a hardtop so I wanted something different. I took an extra '70 Bonneville body and cut it up to fit my needs in various areas. I added the wheels from the Streetburner Monte, some nail polish, a few details here and there, and here's the result. Thanks for looking. cool.gif

May I be the first to say "Stunning!"?

Steve

OK, I was slow in hitting the add reply button but that doesn't change my opinion!

Thank you, gentlemen!! tongue.gifbiggrin.gif

Sweet ride.

I have also used nail polish, what barrier/primer do you use?

I was at Wal-Mart and they had all summer shades on sale; some $1.99 or $2.47

I just used Plastikote T-235 primer and let it dry for a week. I'll have to go check out Wal-Mart to see what cool colors they have. I thin the polisy with acrylic enamel thinner

Tonio, THAT is a BEAUTIFUL build! I LOVE the color!!!! A freind in high school had one, only darker green with a white roof. The chicks LOVED that car!laugh.gifbiggrin.gifwink.gif

Very nice job with this, there is a huge difference between the first and the finished pics. Painjob looks good, and interior looks super clean without any mistakes. I'm not a fan of those wheels or tires, but I think they fit quite well to this car! B)

You never cease to amaze me with your work. Beautiful job.

Seems like only the other day we were at Johnny's train show and building models. Oh what fun!
