This is my '50 Chevy Pick Up.

Some of you might already saw my other Topics and know that I love to photo mount the models on real backgrounds.

What you see here are model pictures photo mounted on landscape pictures from holidays.

There is no photo retouching on the models!

That is sweet! Great job on the weathering! Like the photo backgrounds, almost makes the truck look real!

All it was missing was the farmer or rancher in the drivers seat!

It's very nice, that weathering looks very good and with those pictures, this car looks 1:1 scale! Awesome job on this!

Awesome! That last pic really looks real. How about some engine, chassis and interior pics?

Awesome work! A little tweek to the lighting would push these photos into the "can't tell it from the real thing" area. Don't get me wrong, as I said, these models and pics are awesome and well beyond my skill level to accomplish.

However, I live in Phoenix and the one thing about sunlight in the American West and Southwest is it's harsh- hard, sharp and blazing. Sometimes it almost screams at your eyes. I'm afraid I don't know enough about photography to offer any technical tips short of actually taking your pics in the Phoenix sun next time you're out this way. But then you'd have to work quickly to avoid having your models melt. :)

I always enjoy your pics and I hope you take this suggestion in the spirit in which it was offered.

Thanks,

David G.
