Adam deCoste Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I have the interior done on this model now, just finished it. and this kit also has some problems as you can see in this photo. thanks for looking.
dwc43 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I have two of these. I'm going to put the Hemi Dart chassis and drive train under it to solve all these problems.
Adam deCoste Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 im going to fix this one, its just going to be a quick build
ian ashton Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Looks great so far, what color are you thinking?
Adam deCoste Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 its going to be white with black stripes
Harry P. Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 The interior looks very good... you have that "vinyl" shine on the seats just right.
george 53 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I used the chassis/floorpan from the AMT Duster 71 kit. i had to remove the floor out of the stock cuda bucket to make it fit. Then add some length to the stock buckets to lift them up a tad, an you should be good ta go.Maybe i sounded a bit to simplified, but, it's not really that hard. I love those 67/69 Cuda's. Yours is lookeen GOOD!!!
charlie8575 Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Great job on the interior, Adam. I'll enjoy seeing the rest of this come together. Charlie Larkin
Nick Winter Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Looks good Adam what paint did you use for the seats and dash and such? I can't seem to get that vinyl look very easy. look forward to seeing it with color on it. Nick
Adam deCoste Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 the black is armor cote flat black enamel, it was only like 3$ for a really huge can and its a durable finish lol
Mopar - D Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Nice work on the interior I like your flocking. I posted my Blue Killer Cuda yesterday and currently working on another 69 Cuda.
Nick Winter Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 the black is armor cote flat black enamel, it was only like 3$ for a really huge can and its a durable finish lol You get that at Canadian Tire, I noticed they have a brand with Armour something in it.
Adam deCoste Posted December 14, 2010 Author Posted December 14, 2010 ya it came from canadian tire i'm pretty sure
Blake Rogers Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) Looks good Adam what paint did you use for the seats and dash and such? I can't seem to get that vinyl look very easy. look forward to seeing it with color on it. Nick same here Edited December 14, 2010 by Blake Rogers
Wagoneer81 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Adam, that's a sharp looking interior. You make vinyl look easy!
Adam deCoste Posted December 16, 2010 Author Posted December 16, 2010 i know these inner fenders are not right for this car but there much better then the ones that came with the kit
W-409 Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 i know these inner fenders are not right for this car... Styrene and Dremel, saw and file... Must make some modifications to them, I think. But anyways your project looks very good to me, keep it going... And yes, one thing, sand those molded wires, hoses etc. away from inner fenders and firewall, then make new ones from aftermarket wire, looks lots of better.
