Finally finished this up. I nosed and decked the body then channeled it about 4 scale inches to get it down a bit. Had to make new glass as the kit glass was to thick and a pain to work with.

I painted it with the Testors one coat purple and Tamiya white pearl. As for the interior about the only thing custom is the steering wheel which I robbed from the parts bin. Exhaust tips were made from aluminum tubing and the club plaque is hung with chain from the rear bumper. Thats about it. thanks for looking. Happy modeling.

That's looking so nice! Like that color, it's just perfect to the Chevy. Paintjob looks very great too, so smooth and shiney. All little modifications are made very nicely, and those wheels and tires are just perfect choice to this one. I have AMT's '51 Chevy Bel Air Convertible. I'm building it to mild custom. But anyways yours looks very very good! :angry:

Thanks guy's. W-409 can't wait to see the vert. when it's done. Keep us posted. Danno ya know ya could send some of that out this way if ya like! I took the pic's in 18 deg weather. Froze my er..... tail off but it was worth it. Now on to maybe finish another project.
