I have a question hopefully someone knows, here goes. Iam a hogan heroes nut, i watch that and mash everyday, so on hogan heroes there is a guy name burkoffer (hopefully I spelled it right) when he cmes to the camp he is always in a gray 4 door convertible car that has 4 rear wheels, my question, what is the name of this car and did any company make a model of it, any size dont care, i want to make a replica of his car, thank you and i will be coming all the time now, i love this site
ra7c7er Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 It's a Mercedes Benz G4. One was made in the 70's by a company called tilt it was 1/35th scale. Squadron makes one in 1/72 scale but it too will be hard to find as is has been OOP for a while. You can find it in diecast fairly easily but it is still expensive. Hitler had a hard top G4 and there are some famous photos of him in a convertible G4 for you history buffs.

There were 3 body styles of MB G4's, all 3 were on display in Auburn, IN at the Kruse Auction in 2009.
gbdolfans Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Hi Darrin, Welcome to the best forum on the web!!!!! You can go to E-bay categories,go to toys&hobbies, models, automobiles and in the search box put in G4. It should pull up all on e-bay in the model cat. If you need more help, let me know on this as I also am a huge Hogan fan!!!! Long live the Heroes!!!!! George

Actually,General Burkhalter was played by Leon Askin, and he passed away on June 3,2005. I still enjoy watching it when I can find it. George
Jon Cole Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 BTW, if you put "Mercedes Benz G4" into Google Image, lots of pics. Or at least more than I thought there would be.
