kilrathy10 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Man, that's some good work....Crisp and clean and just an awesome project....
hooknladderno1 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Awesome scratchbuilding AND clean building overall! Very inspiring! Look forward to following your progress. David
BigBad Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Yet another incredible build! There are people with big talent (and patience...) here. Very nice, this is going to be some high quality replica. A 379-127 hood, a Cummins Signature engine, custom exhaust system, a very cool custom scratch built dump box... Excellent detailing. You actually had the guts to paint the fuel tank! Hats off to you. I know that the tanks and wheels come from MCA but the tires, especially the rear ones??? Another thing, what did you do with the wheel hubs, did you machine them off? Please do tell! Another benchmark.

Robert.....thank you for the great comments/feedback When ordering from MCA/Michael...just specify you do not want the hubs installed...the hubs shown are resin...and modified to fit the aluminum rims perfectly. The tires are from the MODELMAKERSHOP....reason for the "stall" is of course time...but I have a new airbrush system going in place to finish this....Kurt
Mopar - D Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Kurt glad to see you back on this build looking forward to see it finished. Excellent scratch building.
Turbo590 Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) 4/14/14..... As the end finally "nears" I wanted to give the group some updated pictures. Hope to see some at the up-coming NNL East, Kurt Edited April 14, 2014 by Turbo590
