DRG Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 WOW! That model belongs in a showroom with a salesman standing by it ready to sell.
Dwight55 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Wow. I never realized how nice a 55 looks in silver & white. Very nice
Guest Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Wow! Felix, that is your best yet! Absolutly beautiful top notch work!
Kanedge Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Very nice colour combination, beautiful work.
Bastardo Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 A beautiful car in a beautiful color combo That white 'n silver combo sure gets my thumbs up Well done!

Drgon63 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 SHWEEEEET ... love the color combo on that....
TheCat Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 Thank you everyone!!! It was a fun project. I was not sure how well the silver and pearl white would of come out. But I must say, it did work great and from the many complements that I received, it was a very good choice. THANK YOU!!

Model Kit: Revell Kit #4295 Scale: 1:25 Here's the link to the process of building the Silver Streak: Work in Process Model Box Great job,,,,but the X-member in the frame was only used on the drop tops, or the Pontiac chassis.
horsepower Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I really like your showroom views, looks like something from GM's futuristic ads.
Chris C Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Excellent job, very tidy. I've always found silver a problem colour to paint, guess you didn't by the looks of things!
Darbo Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Man that thing is sweet! Did you have any trouble with fit issues as i have the same '55 kit on the go and it is giving me a headache.
jeff ewaskey Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Wow its like a trip back in time. Only things missing are a tray from the drive-in soda shop hangin on the door and a girl in a poodle skirt leaning on it. Excellent build and a truly beautiful model. Awesome job.
Sixties Sam Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Great build! The silver and white gives it a whole different character than the pastels of the 1950's, or the bright hot rod colors. More elegant, maybe. Very nicely done! Sam
Ryan S. Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Yup, that came out very nice. Great color combo.
Rob D Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Incredible!! That is one bang up job - I don't see how you guys get that chrome so sharp. I'm gonna have to break down and experiment with that foil. Paint just doesn't compare to what I've seen on here.
