  1. I just tried to join a franklin/danbury mint group page on facebook and got denied. I have about 55 mints in my collection and am a member of almost 200 page groups and have never been denied before. Anyone know anything about this page? I am confused.
  2. Ever since they started making primer and paint together, I've had problems with that brand. And Krylon is just as bad
  3. Are they the same custom parts as the hardtop was?
  4. You can go to Speedway Auto mall and see 4 different tracks there.
  5. I've been there but haven't raced there yet. I run HO scale usually in Rockford.
  6. We race 1/24th and HO here in northern ILL, but it's not always Nascar. Dirt, modifieds, and Indy to name a few
  7. I've had 1 for years, but whoever built it cut a hole in the hood for the injector tubes. Doesn't appear to have been ever painted though
  8. I have only 2 words to say about Nas(ty)car........Who cares?"
  9. It sure looks authentic to me. On both the car and flatbed
  10. Hi Mike, 395 for a motor sounds very high end. Are you in it for fun or serious competition? We race HO scale in Rockford, but the "season" is almost over as we only have 2 more to go. BTW there is a big scale track in Rockford (on Broadway) if your ever in town........
  11. I do like that fiery orange. It could pass for a factory color IMO. But I must say the OB must not read instructions by looking at that taillight trick he pulled. I about choked on that pic......
  12. That is the number 1 reason I don't watch Nas(ty)car anymore. Fed up with the dumb rule changes
  13. Welcome Jac, from your northern neighbor. Love that 68....
  14. MPC did a 63 corvette that was well detailed. Working front suspension but no opening doors, figure that one out. I have heard they (AMT) will reissue the 55 nomad soon.
  15. I did not see anyone mention a 69 El Cam. I realize a 68 is close, but a real 69, that would be my 1st pick.
  16. I have been building/collecting for over 40 years. My wife and I tried to inventory them once, and was distracted after 3 days effort. Never got finished but the count then was 3000. That was about 10 years ago. Whenever the Good Lord calls me home, there's gonna be one heck of an action.
  17. I just picked up one tonight, so now I won't be running all over the world looking for another. From what I see, its a great kit.
  18. Welcome Dan. All I can say is watch that Dr.K ....... He keeps that knife blade real sharp. HAha Seriously I'm your neighbor to the south.
  19. I'd love to post pics, but resizing is something I can't seem to do. It never works.
