  1. Welcome Dan. All I can say is watch that Dr.K ....... He keeps that knife blade real sharp. HAha Seriously I'm your neighbor to the south.
  2. I'd love to post pics, but resizing is something I can't seem to do. It never works.
  3. The AMT 1960 chevy pickup has a nice one.
  4. So whats the projected release date? I'm ready for them NOW.
  5. A except, I do like the wide whites
  6. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 I don't want to see anything reissued, I want something new for a change. IE a 60 El Camino or a 72 El Cam. How about a nice mid 80's chevy pick-up?
  7. Unless your fussy about color, it should work. 55 Chevy sixes were blue.
  8. 1959 chevy Biscayne, 6 cyl, 3 spd, 4 door sedan. Stripped down model, but it was mine.
  9. This is a winter hobby for me. In the nicer weather I'm playing with the 1/1 cars. AND this dang puter takes away from my time working on models.
  10. Amt/ertl 55 chevy sedan. With a 6 and back windows that actually fit the car.
  11. Yes that is sad. RIP, Ray
  12. I have at least one of every year Vette from 53 - 2013. Some are proms, some metal and some plastic. If they don't do a 14, I will be terribly disappointed. Myself, I don't care if its metal or plastic, as long as its accurate.
  13. I remember the car at RWIS meetings. And I remember your son, but you must be off on his age.. He can't be 26...........can he? My but time flies.
  14. Nice. I always liked Terry. One class act.
  15. Wow. I still have my Ford GT cox sidewinder my mom bought me for CHRISTmas, somewhere around 65. Plus the original box although it pretty beat up. Makes me wonder what it would bring..........
  16. IMO it doesn't matter if its good or bad. Its a 55 chevy......nothing else matters. I love 55 chevies.
  17. When the 55 chevy 2dr sedan came out in 1990?, I bought 2 cases (24). I built 13, all in different colors and have since then bought 2 more of the re-issues. Now that Revellogram has the hardtop, I have 6 of them. And 11 converts.
  18. #1 1941 chevy #2 1949 chevy #3 1952 chevy #4 1954 chevy truck #5 1956 chevy belair . (a decent one) Can you tell I'm a chevy man?
  19. For me its a weather issue. This is mostly a winter time hobby. In the spring, summer and fall, I'm outside with my first love. A 55 chevy. However, in 2009 I was laid off for 2 weeks so I did finish 9 models that had been started and not finished.
  20. I would paint them separately, so you don't have any overspray on anything.
  21. The part # on my old can. I guess every Testors paint has a number
  22. I guess I should have explained more. I tried to do enamel paint job with a 2part laquer gloss over the top. I've used the 2 part clear with the 2 part paint with good results, From my experience with real car paint, I know laquer will not sit well over enamel.
  23. I'm having trouble finding a high gloss clear for testors enamels. Had 3 cans of #1814 which I really liked. Now its gone and I can't find it anymore. Can anyone tell me of a suitable replacement. I tried the 2 part laquer with disastrous results. (Wet look) Thanks ahead of time.
  24. bought the 69 Chevelle convert today!
  25. Back in 08 I had about 15 sitting on a shelf. Then we all got laid-off for 2 weeks at work and I caught up real fast. But now there is a few up there again as work has been steady.
