Car Crazy 81 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 This is my first finished build for 2011 it took me a long time to finish this one but it was a blast to build and the best part everything on the truck came out of the parts box so expenses were done including paint. I'll be entering this one and my other 64 C-10 in the Tigerfest show next month wish me luck.
jeff ewaskey Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I really like this build. Very interesting and unique idea for a classic pickup. Very nicely done!!!
Reeves Racing Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Great idea, very clean build. I like those wheels.
Terry Sumner Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Since you said you intend to enter this cool model in a show, may I ask...in the last photo..the windshield...near the top..what is that line running horizontally near the top? Is that the top line of the windshield glass or something else? If it is the windshield glass may I make a suggestion that you fix that before entering it? If it's not the windshield glass, what the heck is it?
W-409 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Cool Old School Gasser! I like the stance and wheels and tires are perfect choice for this one. '64 Chevy pickup is great basis for a gasser build. Nice work on the engine too, maybe ignition wires would look good on that, but it's not bad now either.
Thor Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Cool Gasser Is it possible to get a chassis shot ? I love gassers

Terry- Thanks for pointing that out when i'd seen youre reply i'd quickly overlooked the truck low and behold the windshield wasnt installed right so that problem is now fixed. Thanks for looking if you wouldnt have mentioned i wouldnt have known.
gray07 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Love it, iam building the same truck now, the only thing i did i swapped the bed off to someone for a stepside bed,
