Towmaster Dave Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) This is the end result of a 2 week build, mini tubbed the rear and added a ford 9" rear end, wide low profile tires on 23" sleeves using the kit custom wheels, used a TPI from a 90's Camaro on the kit engine and parts box headers and air intake. paint is Duplicolor Med garnet Red and Tamiya white. Towmaster Dave Posted March 10, 2011 Author Share Posted March 10, 2011 The mini tub was just deepening the stock wheel wells to the frame, then just add some styrene to fill in the new part of the wheel well and done, easy except with this car the stock leaf springs run inside the frame and coundn't be used. I used the suspension from the Revell 32 highboy for this, Here is the underside of the car and a stock chassis for the convertable i am building.
