Like the build, the paint job is out of this world, nice job Tyrone! Your builds always amaze me, especially the details.

If you were to highlight the graphics, I suggest a lime green or silver as I think that will make the graphics really pop. The detailing would take the patience of a saint and a steady hand but it could be worth it if you are up to the challenge. You might be able to find a fine point pen that will work on the paint job but I would be afraid of it smudging or smearing.

Practice on a scrap body, I would hate for you to mess up that paint job!

Yep, easy way around that is intercoat clear.... and Oneshot striping paint. If you mess up just use some laquer thinner and wipe it off and start over. :D I would go with a "Process Green" or "Process Blue" using striping paint and a striper will get you much better results and a much finer line.

That paint job looks awesome. I would attempt the pinstriping as it would definately define the graphics better and going with the technique already mentioned would make it less stressful on you. Adding a clearcoat beforehand so if you make a mistake or are unhappy with the results will simply allow you to remove it without damaging the paint. Either way it's going to look great when finished.

 Holy Smokes!!!! I love that paint scheme... Man does it pop with those colors and I really like that lime green on there for the pin stripping. Awesome work man!

Awesome indeed!! I really like how the green almost disappears where its next to the yellow and subtly comes back when it fades to the white in the front and orange in the back. OK, Tyrone. I gotta ask how you did that.

Whoever suggested you use lime green paint sure is one smart guy! :rolleyes:B)

That came out just like I envisioned it, great job Tyrone! If I only had the patience and skill you do maybe my ideas would make it on to some of my models!

WOW, it sure looks better with those stripes on, and great job with them! They look very sharp! Really cool paint scheme, can't wait to see more of this build (and other projects too).

Mike thanks for the idea of the lime green paint...I had some paint handy that I use for painting my nos bottles when I use the speedtech decals, it took me about 3 hours to do it, I used a brand new paint brush and made sure to keep the tip of the brush clean, very happy with how it turned out.. thanks again Mike ;)

Brad the way I did the paint job was with an airbrush, a cheap one at that... lol... but I painted it all white to start off, then I added the yellow to the remainder of white paint that was left in the bottle, and lightly sprayed it on holding it 12/16 inches away so it was like a light mist touching the car, then I added a little more yellow paint to the mixture to darken the color. Then I added the orange paint in the same bottle w/the yellow paint and did the same steps...

Thanks guys for all of your input and comments....

That looks good Tyrone!... I dont think I would have enough patience for that lol

Thanks I did'nt think I would either, but it was not that bad I was just being careful not to mess up cause I did it free hand, but a liitle Crown Black was needed during the process..LOL...

LOL... if anything that should straighten things out. :D Or help you with those jagged lines maybe... lol

Anyway, you did an outstanding job in pin stripping your graphics. Now when you clear you will have to do it multiple times and sand that part down to get that pin strip to lay down flat, or you will have a hump when you lay clear over it.

what's up fellas, this past weekend since the weather was nice I got a couple of coats of clear on the body, and wet sanded it down to smooth down the areas where I added the green stripe, I also added aome decals, I still need to touch up the area around the grille, I plan on putting on about 3/4 more good coats of clear on here, so when I start polishing I've got a good cushion, gonna really try to make this one shine....were getting close though. Thanks for looking and comments welcome.....
