Randy Kern Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Just completed for the NNL East, a new version of one of my favorite Camaros. I just did a basic build, no engine detail, body colored rear pan, and left off the black around the windows, as I liked the look better. One thing you need to do with this kit if using the kit wheels and tires, is to trim the front inner hubs to tuck the wheels in, and lower them slightly. The rear wheels were fine. The paint is Duplicolor Med Maui Blue, and the interior Model Master Steel.
MrObsessive Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Wow, I missed this one yesterday!! There was soooooooo much there! 8) Very, very nice Randy! I'd like to see Chevy offer this color come '09/'10 for the 1:1!
Steve H. Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Very nicely done! The decals fit perfectly. Steel is an interesting choice for the interior, but it works well.
VW Dave Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I caught that one at the NNL; super job on it. The Yenko stripes look at home on it with that blue paint.
Lyle Willits Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Somehow, I missed that one too. Great job Randy.
cruz Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Hey, nice job on that one, I did not know it was yours, very cool color  Love the Yenko stripes.................
Randy Kern Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 Thanks, guys. Surprisingly, not many were there. Lyle's very cool SS, and Nick Sandone had a neat aqua colored SS version. The one that I can't wait to see done is Cruz's. That paint job is just.......WOW!
gasman Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 awsome build, would be cool if GM would a special edition 1:1 when the 09 Camaro comes out, but unfortanently I don't see it happening, since Yenko Chevrolet no longer exists, and Yenko is now a Honda dealer.
Modelmartin Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 You have a great eye! That looks really good.
Andy Wyatt Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Great job Randy! Not a big fan of the new Camaro but yours looks really sweet. Can't wait to see it in person.
