miatamadman Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 As you can see, I got a little side tracked from the 1/43rd scale customs. This here is my first Lindberg Police car kit. The previous cruisers I built, were built using the RT version as a basis. Anyway, I built this using Greenbelt, MD's new paint scheme to see how it would look on the Charger. The paint is all Tamiya colors. I added rear window bars, cut down the windows to simulate rolled down glass, detailed the heck out of the light bar, replaced the spotlight with one from the Lindberg CV kit, added trim rings to the wheels using bare metal foil, custom made the antennas and front pushbar mounted strobes and added my own inkjet decals.
mrmike Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 That is a sharp looking cruiser! You did a super job on this Charger! I just got a Lindberg Charger to make a New Hampshire State Police cruiser, I just have to order the paint!
highway Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Very nice, now I can't wait even more to pick up the half dozen or so I had my LHS order!
Danno Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Excellent, Zoli! As always, excellent!! Isn't it a super kit?? (Gotta get mine done.)
stewart Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I love the wheels and the color. Nice build. STewart
SteveG Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I wondered who would be the first guy to post pics of a finished Lindberg Police Charger kit. I was betting on either you or Tom S. Nice touch on the rear window bars and the partial rolled down side glass. Espcially since the frames are molded in. I've got several started but nothing worth posting. Steve
Zoom Zoom Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Looks great, I like your extra detailing. Fun kit, isn't it?

niteowl7710 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Have you seen their K-9 Tahoes? Bleckhh!!!! But i'm still going to build one anyway Well I approve only in as much as they didn't go to a straight black & white which everyone else seems to eventually fall victim to in the past 5 years.
blubaja Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Great job! Thats a cool scheme for their 1:1s. Don't usually see too many green based cars.
