philo426 Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 Pretty cool!Is it resin or did you use the Ecto-1 as a base?
charlie8575 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Soon as I get a couple built, they'll be appearing here. Two nice builds so far. Charlie Larkin
Bastardo Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 So far it has to be my DamDesign Soul Exporter: Yes, that's a cofin in the rear... It started as a Welly 1/24 Volkswagen Passat Variant and it went through hell: Click here.
70elcamino Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Pretty cool!Is it resin or did you use the Ecto-1 as a base? Yes it is the Ecto-1 Russell Edited April 7, 2011 by 70elcamino
MrObsessive Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Of all the models I've ever built, I think this is the only wagon I have! I'd like to build a few more wagons sometime down the road!
Danno Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Here's my phantom Magnum from Baker County, FL. I figure if they're gonna name a county after me, it's only right that I build them an Inca Gold squad car! Slapped this one together during a 24-hour build session with clubmembers, so I didn't even try to fill in the sun/moon roof. I'd do that differently on a more relaxed build. Thank goodness for fast-drying lacquers!
Jairus Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I have not been able to build some of the cool projects I want to... but my friend Stan Ulrich did build one of my drawings. He gave the model to me, so I submit this as 'one' of my favorite longroof projects.
larrygre Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Â Jairus, that puppy is sweet! Great mod to the Pie Wagon kit!
Foxer Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 My wife has all the longroofs .. this is her 91 Subie Legacy.
VW Dave Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 It's not necessarily my favorite, but it is my only completed wagon thus far...my "Boyz n' the Wood" phantom/slammer '64 Impala: After a lacquer crazing incident that messed up the roof and trunk areas, I cut away most of the kit body and went to town.
highway Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Even though I'm not too big into wagons, a couple of them have caught my eye! This one is one of my many "I'll get around to finishing it someday" WIPs, my sleeper/beater AMT 65 Chevelle wagon. I'm planning on using the racing engine options that fit under the hood along with weathering and rusting the body and using the stock hubcaps. Note the front plain steel wheel, just like a hubcap flew off! I'm also into Nomads, I have all the Tri Fives, but the only one I have worked on is my 55 AMT Nomad. This one falls into the "Finished but still in progess" file, because I built it before I had a complete plan for it. After I primed it, I liked the look of it, and plan to remove all the trim and drill out mounting holes to give it the "in progress" restoration look. Oh, and pardon the dust, it's an older build and I didn't dust it before the pic!
Nick Winter Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 That Chevelle is cool Matt, just needs a few dents and dings and you got yourself a car. Nick
lordairgtar Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Great job Double D. When you gotta get that stiff to the morgue quickly.....
roadhawg Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I think this is the only wagon I have. Johan '60 Plymouth.
Danno Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Here's a long overdue workbench wagon. Since it's a Nova, I'm not sure it's really a long roof. More like a medium roof! LOL. I really should dust this off and finish it someday.
customsrus Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I am kind of partial to this T-Bird,not because its one of my builds, but because it is something you dont see everyday.
highway Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 That Chevelle is cool Matt, just needs a few dents and dings and you got yourself a car. Nick In time, Nick, in time! Not only will it have dents, but rust and a BAD paintjob, too! It will be all go and no show!
miatamadman Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 my favorite wagon build to date this one was built prior to one above
jeffs396 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 How's about a Heritage High Roof? Someday, we'll have a resin kit made from this...
