Jocache83 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 tried looking to see if there was a thread about a wish list. but didnt any. but is there a vehicle that you guys wish they made a kit of but there's none? as for me, ive always wanted a Lotus Exige or a Lotus Elise kit. i know they make a die cast of them. but it's not the same. shatteredsoul76 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Mine would be a plain jane 1972 Mustang not a Mach 1,it was my first car and in my family for years.
Jairus Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 (edited) You are kidding, right? You really looked? With 300+ pages of stuff to look through I figure you didn't look very far since this thread idea comes up about 5 times a year. Suppose this one will get the same half-dozen pages of obscure and weird requests as usual. (Bet at least someone asks for a "B" body Chevy... yet again.) However, carry on! impcon Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 oh man - where do I start? Are we talking resin, styrene, die cast or all three? OK, I'll keep it simple then and limit it to two of each.... styrene... '67 Fairlane 500 convertible or hardtop or both but NOT a GT or XL '65 Dodge Monaco hardtop resin... '59 Chevrolet Brookwood 4 door wagon '65 Dodge Polara convertible die cast - 1/18 a decent '59 El Camino with the proper side trim 1959 Impala Sport Coupe
stewart Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 That is kind of what I thought. Don't want to destroy the thread but there have been way too many on this subject. STewart
Aaronw Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 On the plus side, there is always somebody who discovers their dream model exists in resin somewhere. This time around I'll ask for a 1950 Dodge truck, we have a Ford and Chevy of that vintage so its only right we get a Dodge to go with them.

bbowser Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 '55 or '56 Oldsmobile 88 or 98. My grandpa's car, I loved it. Two tone green/white.

Wierd and obscure huh? well I did a list a while ago with my mainstream wishlist filled to the brim with chevys fords and pontaics, but I guess I can do wierd and obscure. Here is my list of cars I'd like a model of that I will never get. 1. Tatra T-87 2. Porsche 356 zagato coupe 3. Michelotti Jaguar Lemans 4. Lamborghini GTV prototype 5. Stock Delorean DMC-12 7. mercedes 450SL
spkgibson Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Any Fullsize C-body Chrysler Products from 1969-76 ,The 69 And 70 300's would be great to have in plastic, Same with the 67-69 Dodge Polara. I won't even mention the Monaco name. The 69-71 Fury's also, The 70 and 71 Fury GT would fit with the muscle cars, They were part of the Rapid Transit Themed Plymouths in the 70-71 Model Years.Plus in my eyes all three makes had some of the most beautiful designs of that area for fullsized cars.
ra7c7er Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 LOL, one of these was still being answered last month. Anyway.... My wanted car as I have answered the same every time is (drum roll please) a 89 325IS BMW. It's the middle of the road between the regular 3 and the M3. Just a detuned version of an M3. I know many companies make E30 3-series BMW's but NOBODY makes the "IS" in any sort of accurate form and none with a detailed engine. outside of that I would like to see... Checker (any) Reliant Robin and many more...
Junkman Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I second the Lada once more. And this time, I want a Rover P6 too!

Chuck Most Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Check my post in the "Favorite Diecasts" thread, and add a bullet nose Studebaker.
HotRodaSaurus Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Not first time but here it comes... - Is the Lada really a Fiat? May have been made as a diecast? My all time want, and sorry I dont have a photo, the Ghia L6.4 I only know of the Corgi 1/43 scale toy. John - - - - - - I mean that Lada, not that horse
lordairgtar Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 The Chinese made a model of their old Hong Qi limo. Why can't Russia come up with a Chaika sedan or a ZIL or a GAZ?
Janne Herajärvi Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 HotRodSaurus: Is the Lada really a Fiat? May have been made as a diecast? Lada was based on Fiat in early days. Here is some story wrom Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_124 Yes there is some diecasts but they are in 1/43 scale
