Went through the junk box a month or so back and decided ta build a T roadster. This is what came of it. I extended the front spring perch and channeled the body a little over 7 in. scale. Buick nail head is wired and plumbed. The body is an old Aurora 23 T kit with an AMT turtle deck.

Very, very nice and sophisticated.

And suddenly it hits me why my Father always referred to any car trunk as "the turtleback."

Great inspiration for a "parts box" build. I also just found out that Aurora made a 'T' kit.... never knew that!

Thanks for the great comments guys. Those big old headlights came from MPCs 27 Lincoln.

Tony,

Aurora also made the first 34 ford 5 window coupe kit and it was by far better than the others that followed. Both the 34 and the T were double kits and they were pretty darn good kits.

That's REALLY nice! I like T buckets and that one is as nice as any I've seen. It looks good slung low, but not dragging on the road. Great colors, and engine detail, too! Parts box builds are fun!

Wow... that's some nice junk!!! :)

Yea - What Harry said!

Very clean build. I looks like a happy car - not one that is trying so hard to be so evil and mean. It seems to me tha the whole rat rod thing is to out-evil each other.
