Old Coyote Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 ... for my Kelloggs Frosted Mini Wheats Monte Carlo ........ yep, it's another Terry Labonte car ..... box stock Revell/Monogram kit
Kmidd65 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Hi John, you know I am a big fan of your builds. This one is looking top notch as usual! Question? On your chassis, do you use Krylon Pewter gray or something different? Just wondering as the Krylon is getting difficult to find. Thanks

I agree that Krylon is getting hard to find .......... this chassis is painted with Krylon Gloss Gray which I found at Hobby Lobby ........... beggars can't be choosers
bbowser Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Another awesome Labonte build. Aren't you going to run out of variations soon?
outlaw427 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Nice Labonte Ride.. I've built a few myself...They're sum of my favorite builds. Great job.
AceofBass Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I, too, am a huge fan of your builds. I always get a little excited when I see a new post by Old Coyote. I build like you do; nice and clean but not over the top. Keep 'em comin, man. If you have access to Tamiya and don't mind spending the extra coin for small cans, their Aircraft Light Blue is a nice chassis color too. Looks closer to the grey used in the 80's and early 90's (if it was even a different color than current).

Gloss Gull Gray is the color that the 1:1 teams use on their cars, so that would probably be the closest to use, & it is still available as a Testors color.
