Cool!!! Love the late 60's/ early 70's Chevy or GMC pick-em-ups. Which way ya goin? Restored, restomod, bagged on dubs, old school hot rod with suede paint? The suspense is killin me!!!! Lol I will be watchin

Looking nice Bruce! Looks much better as a short bed! I've always wanted to do the same thing with the '72 GMC. I just gotta come up with a tail gate.

Randy, those wheels were in various MPC kits. One kit that I know for sure that has them is the little Datsun California Step Side. I have one that I'm restoring.

Except for the color it looks a lot like a truck a friend had (his was blue & white). Those short bed GMCs are nice, funny how lopping off 18" of bed they go from work truck to "muscle car".

Oh, yeah, loving this one!

Roger- I believe Bandit Resins does a GMC wideside tailgate. I've got a half-dead '72 GMC kit with a cut down Chevy bed somewhere, I tried foil copying the GMC letters off the hood and transfering them to the tailgate, if I recall, it didn't work too well!

Bruce-

The work looks good on this one. The bed shortening went well and the grille detail is sharp. Nice looking truck.
