Dragracer Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I don't know Brett, as the old saying goes "Great Minds Think Alike", but maybe in our case it should be "Glued Minds Think Alike"!

3men2s Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I enjoy this builds better than the 1:1 projectsit takes skills to make things look real in a 1/24 or smaller scale. AMAZING
white-snake Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 WOW Rom! I am just blown away each and every time I check this build out. This is an awesome build, very inspiring just like everything I have seen so far. Keep it up, looking forward to the next update
Fatbear Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 It's Johnson & Johnson medical tape you can get it at any drug store, I used it to make the blower blanket and the racing harness. And I used a red sharpie to color it. the Sharpie acts as a dye and doesn't hide the cloth details. Here a picture of it. Nice, so I guess I wont have to import this tape! ((: Now serious, how you cut your metal rods and tubes? With a hand saw or something electrical? {}Fatbear
Dragracer Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 It's just beautiful Rom, can't think of any other way to say it.By the way, how did you know I was Vulcan & an expert at mind melding!
eviltwincustoms Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I am amazed at the detail you have in this thing! And to top it off you are still going like the Energizer Bunny.... going and going and going... does the detail ever stop? I like that you stuck with a brass chassis and have built almost all the parts from scratch! I have my eye on this thread.
stump Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Rom..............................SUPER !! Hey, what colour (brand) is that purple you used to anodise those fittings, it looks spot on.

Romell R Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Rom..............................SUPER !! Hey, what colour (brand) is that purple you used to anodise those fittings, it looks spot on. Hey Gregg thx for stopping in and check out the build the color you ask about is a blue sharpie marker lay a couple coats and you get almost the exact color of the 1:1 AN fittings. And thx to the rest of you guys for your sincere compliments Well here's the second update I promised , I received a package from RB Motions today so I was able to make my plug wires I also made the "T" handle boots for the spark plugs too. I hope you enjoy.... Soldered these together to get started I had to make 8 sets of these. sorry I didnt get pics of the build process but you know how it is when you get an idea going... With the first one almost done I now know how to go about making these. Now to get the distributor ready for wiring Here I have 3 plugs wired stay tuned I'll post the finished job later tonight. Those rubber plug boots are from RB Motion and I think there GREAT!!
