Scale-Master Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Why not built it the way it shows on the box? Like the show truck?
diymirage Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 why dont you extend it and make it into a car hauler...like a modern deora
Romell R Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Turn it into a woodie panel with real wood panels, and add a under the hood blower, and tuck some mikckey thompsons under it.
Raykreations Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Durango Copper Pearl paint with wooden slats for the bed floor. Chrome the wheels that came with the kit...just a suggestion.
Guest Sickfish Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Use front end on the VTS Ram, lower it, big fat wheels ( chrome ) 2-tone paint... Cliffo
jsimmons Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Throw the contents away and put more useful stuff into the box.
torinobradley Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Graft on the front end of a 53-56 Ford F100, Throw in a few additional styling cues along the Ford lines, blown late-model Mustang power and driveline, and you got a looker. At least, that's what I'd try.
Danno Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Section it (to reduce overall body height) and bubbletop the "cab." Chrome wheels and metalflake.

At least, that's what I'd try. Wow, I thought someone else would have to have that idea. I am almost finished working up a concept of one kind of like this. PM me if you would like to see it so far. Mike
kennb Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 I am getting a lot of great ideas. I am wondering how it would look with ground effects kit and widen the box a little with dualies under it. I am limited to parts since I have not done many cars in the lst few years. Kenn
DanielG Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Gnarley truck wheels and tires, roll-bar wth lights and seats in the back.
Kit Basher Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Close up the wheel wells and make it a "2047 Dodge flying pickup truck".
hOLMS Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Scratch build a top, scratch some tube bumpers and make it a 4x4 stadium racer! Good luck!
mageckman Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 How about turning it into a monster truck? Get the huge tires and suspension, lift it way up. It's gotta look better that way than it does stock!
Jim Gibbons Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Ice Cream truck! I agree with Tony; it'd be pretty cool to do a modern take on an old Good Humor ice cream truck!
mr cheap Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 take that body put on a power wagon (4x4)and jack it up
