ismaelg Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Hello everybody! Here it is! The world premiere of my custom Ferrari 612ig! I really like the way it turned out. Cobra Colors Oro Chiaro paint. You can read about the car in Motor trend (opened), Forza and Sports Cars Illustrated The owner is also into scale models  No eating in the back seat! Ya hear! Many more pictures and details here: http://puertoriconet.com/images/612 Your comments are appreciated. Thanks, Ismael "the Corvette guy who wanted a fancy 4 seater to get around with the kids in style" Gonzalez
MonoPed Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Fantasic work Izzy! Not a fan of the 612, but your modifications make the car look tough - well done!
BIGTRUCK Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 What cant you love about that build..just way to cool for words [i just love the way you can go back and spell things right on this board]
S10man Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Beautiful work Izzy. Fine details and craftsmanship. Congratulations on a super build.
Zoom Zoom Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Very nice! Do the hood struts really work or are they static? Nice subtle upgrades to the car, much more character than stock.
crispy Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Absolutely Fantastic work Ismael. Your car, Bob's car, that is what the 612 should have been. My question is the same as Bob's, are those struts for looks or do they really work? Chris
ismaelg Posted May 18, 2006 Author Posted May 18, 2006 Thanks guys, (whispering) Pssst: Bob, Chris: technically, the struts work, but they are very stiff and do not allow the hood to close completely, so for all practical purposes, they are static Thanks,
MrObsessive Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 SUPER DUPER NICE Ismael!! I LOVE the background you used also.........looks just like it's in the dealer waiting to be bought!
GTmike400 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I love the side scoop. It was hard to tell what was done to the body. In my opinion, thats the best way to design. I go by the virtue of: "If people ask what I did, then what I've done belongs with the car. It doesnt stand out, and I've done my job right." Great work. The background is magnificent as well.
Gray Smith Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 wow....just wow, thats beautiful. Awesome build man.. Gray
FASTBACK340 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Fantastic job Ismael! I don't know which is more impressive: the laser-sharp build or the killer setting. Beautiful...just beautiful!
