Nice work. You sir, are a craftsman, and your attention to detail is exceptional. Now could all this be because of your location? You are way too far north with too much daylight in summer and too much darkness in winter? Meaning,  that you don't want to waste the daylight (summer), but then come winter, being stuck indoors, and the models are calling...plenty of time to work on detail, I ask you what else can you do? Do you know what I mean...the trade off, one against the other but it all evens out and you have got some nice looking models, and wonderful molds. Good job.

Rickard... You are one talented builder my friend. Wow at that injector hat assembly and barrel valve. That think is gorgeous and the Carbon Fiber decal work is just beautiful.

Thanks for all comments. ;)

I have not modeling for about 2-3 years now...so I hope the inspiration will last for a while.

@ Håkan :  I´m almost done,..almost;) just the kitchen and dinner room left.

Soon I´m gonna move my model workshop to another room...a more permanet installation.

Here´s some new pics. on the injector hat. Linkage and fuel lines added.

hope u like it

Hi.

Finaly some progress...and it feels fun to do some modeling again :)

The rear axle were taken from an Revell Top fuel dragster. I choose this top loader because I needed a narrow axle

to fit in the small Vette body. With some photoetch plates it turned out pretty good.

On previous builds I used the steering gear from Revells pro stock/pro mod kits.  This time I decided to scratchbuild my own steering gear, because the parts from the kits didn´t fit and didn´t look the way I wanted.

The scratchbuilt fuelcell...made from Evergreen plasticard.

A scratchbuilt breather tank with bracket. Stainless tubing as ports...I even added a valve at the bottom. More details on this later.
