I have an 06 RM250, currently being rebuilt though. image.jpg This was taken at the Sacramento endurocross last June. The zooks handle so well. Turn on a dime. That start picture is a district 6 hare scramble at hurricane hills. Looking forward to spring!

lordairgtar Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 (edited) My first motor vehicle/farm vehicle driving experience was driving a Ford 9N. i was 12. It was my grandfathers farm tractor which he bought just before WWII. Previously he had a team of horses and a cantankerous Rumley Oil Pull steel wheel tractor. I vaguely remember a steam powered tractor as well being fired up when I was very young. Edited January 14, 2014 by lordairgtar
slownlow Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Back in the day I worked for a farmer that had used horses. He was of mixed emotions about tractors cause they could go all day and night. He said after 10 hours horses were played out and so was he.
Patrick2005 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I don't have any pics but I have a 94 Ford Crown Vic. It has 161000 miles on it and still runs great. It was a detectives car in North Carolina so it has the heavy duty suspension and police package brakes, just not the interceptor motor . It does however still have the old school car phone Well after she hit 178000 we decided it was time to retire the old beast. Now I have a 2009 Honda Civic EX. It's a black 2 door 5 speed with a sunroof and the the bells and whistles. Best of all only has 36000 on it!
Agent G Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Two years on and I'm still driving my Town Car. I have looked and looked for a suitable replacement however none have been found. Truth be told the old girl is still going strong and just rolled over 102,000. The Lincoln is still the best car I ever owned, bar none. I do like my Civic though, still have it too. G
Patrick2005 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I liked my Vic but it was showing its age, it leaked oil like the BP spill, the steering was getting loose and it got terrible mileage. But all in all, it wasn't the worst car I've ever owned.
ApexSpeed Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 17-years young and my current daily driver—1996 BMW M3 Coupe. Runs beautifully, though I would like to not have to abuse it in the Midwestern winters anymore.

Porscheman Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Just turned 204,000 on my 2007 Mazda CX7 on Saturday and my wife has 219,000 on her 1999 Continental. Both were bought new and are the most reliable cars we ever owned.
Rob Hall Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 My '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee hit 150k miles last week. Still rollin'... my '11 Cadillac STS hit 25k today.
ApexSpeed Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 It's TechnoViolet. One of 118 U.S. manual coupes made with black leather interior.
Tom Geiger Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I don't have any pics but I have a 94 Ford Crown Vic. It has 161000 miles on it and still runs great. Well after she hit 178000 we decided it was time to retire the old beast. I had a 1989 Crown Vic that my grandfather bought new. I put a bit over 200,000 on it and gave it to my bro-in-law when I found a 1999 Breeze with 30,000 miles on it cheap. He drove the Vic for a year and passed it on to a buddy. He lost track of it, but it may still be out there. Another bro-in-law of mine does airport runs on weekends for a limo service. He told me that the Vic / Towncar fleet has an average of 500,000 on them.

JTalmage Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 My first car, had it since I was 15, and I still own it (although it needs restored pretty badly now) 1977 Ford Mustang II (dont hate!) You can actually see the front header panel is primer (I hit a deer in it ) This next car is my snowball. I call it Frankenstein. Because it will be made of MANY different mustangs. It started out life as an '88 Mustang LX 4cyl 5spd. Will be a 302/5spd when done, with full drag suspension. Here's some of the parts for it... There's double the stuff in this storage unit now.. I have a problem. lol My '93 Lincoln Mark VIII Then this happened from a deer now it's back to this again after lots of work, and scouring junkyards. It's currently getting a lot of work right now (go fast parts!) My '94 Mustang GT, with like 243,000 miles About the time I first got it My daily driver is a black 2004 Ford Ranger FX4 Level II, extended cab... but I dont seem to have any pictures of it at the moment.

I had a mark viii and my daughter liked it so much we got her one for her first car. Both black. Great cars. Fast and smooth.
JTalmage Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Fast and smooth indeed! Well, atleast if yours were taken care of. Mine was severely neglected, and had many issues. But I'm slowly correcting and fixing them all. I'm to the point now where the issues are pretty well taken care of, and now I am modifying it! Cobra exhaust manifolds, EGR delete, an oil pan that doesnt rust, 3500 stall converter, deep finned trans pan, standalone transmission cooler, 4.10 gears and trak loc diff, sequential taillights, cold air intake w/ box (made by me), underdrive pullies, doing a coil over plug conversion on it using the 2nd gen mark viii coil wiring, coils, and cam covers. true dual exhaust, mandrel bent from manifolds to muffler tips. Double X-pipes, and Magnaflow 3" mufflers. Should be a pretty healthy Mark Viii for what it is. hopefully completing it this spring, and going to get it tuned.
Tom Geiger Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Here's some of the parts for it... There's double the stuff in this storage unit now.. I have a problem. lol Ya know, someone won that unit on Storage Wars last week! :-)
JTalmage Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) I'd hope not! I paid the bill this month! lol I have to go over soon and get some parts out of it to sell, I'll have to snap a current picture Edited January 28, 2014 by JTalmage
