Edsel-Dan Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Great project here. I have plans I drew up in 1/32 scale for a "Wildwood" owned by a neighbor & friend. I just need interior pictures, etc, but can build the shell now. Quote
Wagoneer81 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Brad, I like what you've done so far! I have a copy of that Jimmy Flintstone body. One thing you'll want to check is the size of your windshield opening and the donor windshield. The only reason I mention this is that I am using the '57 Chevy PU Street Machine as a donor kit and the windshield is too small for the opening. I'm going to reduce the opening with styrene rod to remedy this. Quote
disabled modeler Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 WOW!...really nice details and work! Quote

gasser59 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Sorry guys, this one has stalled for the moment. I hope to get back on this after a few other builds. Thanks for your interest and following along. Quote
Tom Geiger Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Very cool work. I check the board constantly so I'm surprised that I hadn't seen this thread until now. I have two camper thingies in the works too, so far you've got way more detail going than I have planned! I got my propane tanks from Escorts Resin. Quote
gasser59 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Thanks Tom. Do you have a website for Escorts Resin products? Quote

Tom Geiger Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 http://my.inbox.com/photos/escort500xl/index.aspx is his photo album / website. Most everything is priced. Email Don and he is very prompt to tell you the total including postage. He'll send you a Paypal bill if you want. His stuff is not Modelhaus quality, more like R&R and does take some clean up. But it's all pretty cheap and he will ship in a week or two depending on how much he has to cast for you. I ordered about $25 worth of stuff and it's a ton of parts. His propane tanks come in two sizes and you'll have to do some clean up and drill out the handle holes. I photo reduced the label myself. I can email you the Word file if you like. Quote
Mooneyzs Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Brad... how is this coming along?? Any new progress on this fantastic build?? Quote
gasser59 Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 No progress on this one Chris. Other builds are taking up my limited bench time at the moment. I hope to get back to this one soon after my messy and unorganized bench get some working space. Quote
