Hessel Hemstra Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 This Mack would do just fine. What about Caterpillar?? It would be a good advertising for Cat Hessel
Eshaver Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I'm curious as to how well a White C O E from the late 40's - early 50's might sell with both a Straight truck frame and a Trailing frame ............. Ed Shaver
jw78z28 Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I like your thinking Ed. I would love to be able to build a C O E rat rod hauler or a 60 drag team hauler.
Guest Johnny Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) How about a 50's B Model Mack? Edited October 15, 2011 by Johnny
Danno Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Actually, I'd guess a modern (read that: Current) NASCAR hauler trailer with accessories and fitments would make an ideal adjunct to the Lonestar (seen the infield at a race lately?). Plus, it would likely be a resounding success, tapping into the large market of builders who have NASCAR models but no haulers, the untold masses who would be stirred to build a hauler for shitakes-and-giggles (and would then have to buy a Lonestar to go with the trailer), as well as the already-existing cadre of big-rig die-hards who are looking for something ~ anything ~ modern to couple up with some of the Lonestars they already have. {Sidebar: Ever notice how naked a semi-tractor looks without a trailer?} Talk about a win/win/win/win/WINNER for Moebius!!!
Guest Johnny Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 {Sidebar: Ever notice how naked a semi-tractor looks without a trailer?} I always thought the semi truck races should have been done in "full dress"! Saw a few on the road now. I believe you are right about a modern hauler!
Chris guthro Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I agree too that we need a prostar to go with the lonestar! I couldnt agree more with the nascar hauler. International an Freightliner have takin over the nascar scene. How about a new-ish lowboy or float? Id like to see a tri axle landholl float. Maybe the 455?
QCDOC Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 This Mack would do just fine. What about Caterpillar?? It would be a good advertising for Cat Hessel Nice!
The Modeling Hermit Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I could go for some modern trailers.
martinfan5 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) I would love to see a new modern NASCAR style transporter in kit form, it would save me a lot of work of having to scratch build one , err three . I love them NASCAR Featherlite trailers Or any modern trailer would be nice, but another newer truck kit would be nice as well, but what would be really nice is we got options with the kit to build it different ways. scale trucker Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 and a old brockway would be cool...not a mack brockway';'; a real brockway..
