Regular viewers may recall my two previous attempts to create this replica - one ended up as a street machine, the other a gasser. Thankfully I managed to apply some autopaint I was happy with, bought from a local store - not Tamiya!!

This is my sixth T'bolt racecar replica, and was built from the Model King release. Wiring was added, the teardrop vents opened and fitted with mesh. A great kit that goes together really well. Many thanks for looking and comments welcome.

Great build. Drag Cars are always nice to watch. I'd like to see picture from the engine too. Paintjob loks good, and decals fit nicely. Great job on the side trim also. Maybe I must build one Thunderbolt too..

Thanks for the kind comments guys - I really like these kits, just as well, having done 8 now ;)

Moparkid13 and Trogdor, I attach a couple more pics for you.

NIce, nice, nice. This is a great kit - has a few issues (specifically getting the grill/bumper to sit right in the fenders) - but I can see you overcame them.

I have one in the final stretch, although it doesn't follow any drag roots. I'll post the pics when it's completed.

Thanks for posting!

Gorgeous piece of work, superb paint. I can't tell for sure from the pictures, but did you add window seals and felt? If so, that's a great detail that is too often overlooked.

Hi Phillip

It's some mesh I had left over from a Tamiya kit - I'm sure you'll be able to get something similar at your LHS, or perhaps some fellow members in the US can direct you to an aftermarket supplier over there.
