I got the base done, which is simple enough. A cigar box lid wrapped in tape, with papyrus and sand and some paint . . . I hope you can read the lettering, which I wanted to be somewhat subtle . . . .

I want to thank all of you for keeping the Lab-RAT-ory crew inspired with your own amazing styrene addiction and eye candy. It's always a blast to build for such a dedicated and fun group.

By the way, if any of you have some photoshop skills, I would love to see this one cut and pasted in front of some pyramids in the distance.

BTW--the sarcophagus and mummy I bought on line . . . and it just happened to be almost in scale!

Thanks . . . you know, it's not my cup of teal, either, my usual, but it's good to break off and do something different every once in a while.

Nice job on this one Doc. Came out great. I love the different colors. The base looks really good too.

How cool would it be to see a similar themed hearse to put that sarcophagus into! Yowza!

Looking good! :)

I thought the headlights might need an alignment, but then there are those crypt zombies erupting from the ground! :o

You thank us for watching this build... We truly enjoyed it! I truly thank you, Virgil, for taking the time to put everything together in the Audio/Video aspect to show what you are putting together in the Plastic aspect... your videos are true gifts that inspire me to build... Not go wacko nuts, throw away the directions, out of the box, forget the box build... but to simply get the energy and focus together to actually build a nice, fun model... have a pleasant couple of hours at the workbench doing something I'm good at but sometimes lack the energy or dexterity to tackle. And I thank you for that, Virgil, I truly thank you! You and several others keep this hobby fresh and hopping and it is ALL greatly appreciated and taken in as fun, entertainment and inspiration!

Guys, This is what the Pharoh took out on Date night with is number one girl... Ya know, gotta get away from the city for a bit, find a little secluded spot down by the Nile... Have a little honey mead, some unleavened bread, a nosh of goat cheese... Maybe see if he can talk her into trying for an heir to the throne... Ahh, what a life....

Massively crazy, Virgil! I am blown away. My weird-o-meter pegs out every time I look at your stuff! I keep breaking them. Wonderful! You have a follower, here. Now; the question; Who is crazier? The Nut? or the Nut who follows him? BLARAHAHAHAHAHAHA *EAErp* *cough* *Hack* *sshhhnorrnk* ....... Whoooo *Wipes Forehead*.. ok, I'm better now...really! Well done! B):P;)

Terry, that looks just right. I gotta get you an eye-level, side picture so that the pyramids loom larger in the back ground. I love that.

THANK YOU!

Excellent work! I really enjoy your dark sense of whimsy. I'm reminded of the dark humor in the old Corman horror films of the 60' & 70's.
