thumper86
Thanks Sam! Question for everyone and anyone : does anybody make or have an Arias "Hemi-Chevy"???????????
1320wayne
AMT made a really nice pulling tractor (Meister Brau) back min the early 90's that came with 3 or 4 very nicely done Arias engines. Tough one to find though.
thumper86
I found one on the bay but not going to pay 100 + for an engine lol . I wish I could just find 1 engine or a resin one . I thought someone used to make one.

W-409
WOW, how I have missed this one?! Really great work so far, '55 Nomad is something, you can't see so often built Race Car. Great job on the body mods. It would be cool to see more, keep going.

bigmikevee
Hey Robert, This is looking good and is going to be very cool when you get it done, am enjoying watching your progress. Thanks for posting. Mike
eviltwincustoms
Chassis looking good as always! I find it very interesting that this back half is sheet metal and only the front clip is Fiberglass.... is there a reason for that? Other than the obvious of not many making Carbon/Glass molds of a 55 Nomad.
thumper86
Not sure I will chat with him tonight and ask him . I found the door area cross bars a bit different also. Edited November 30, 2011 by thumper86
eviltwincustoms
Not sure I will chat with him tonight and ask him . I found the door area cross bars a bit different also. That is odd, now that you mention it. I just went back and looked myself, don't think I have ever seen them mocked up like that. Another unique touch is how he cut the door to go up and over the top then back down, instead of like a regular 55 chevy door. I figured this was due to his head and reducing any headaches (hitting his head) when getting in and out of the car.
thumper86
As far as the door bars go it is because its a 25.2 and not a 25.1 . the roof part has been put back to org. Its coming along nicely I just hope it keeps on going.

Other than a 1/10 of an inch..... LOL.. that was my poor attempt at being funny!
thumper86
LOL ! outlaw105
Looking good!... With the door bars i think it is a chassis builders prefrence. The reason I say that is because my dad and my uncle both have 25.2 certified cars, but one has door bars like the nomad and one has door bars like you are use to seeing. IMO I dont like the door bars in the nomad pictured or my uncles car, it looks akward. Edited November 30, 2011 by outlaw105
