geetee66 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 This is an old Monogram kit from the early 80's and had all the plating in gold, which I stripped. Paint is rattle can from Halfords and is a BMW metallic black. The wheels came from the Boyd Coddington AMT 57 Chevy. They looked dodgy on a 1:25 car, but on this truck (1:24) they fit well. Engine is wired and plumbed and has a Detail Master aircleaner. Scallops are Fred Cady decals
kingiguana Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Very, very cool. You did a great job on a not so great kit. Two thumbs up !

Guest Johnny Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Sweet! The graphics on the roof help hide the kits deficiencies as well as giving it a great look!
