Chris guthro Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 The sickest looking monaco ive ever seen! i lovee it with the colored bumpers!
realgone58 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Gorgeous!!! Someone should do this with a real one. Had several of these B bodies in this style.........they were a really great car, and in my opinion, not bad lookers either.
hotrod59f100 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 That is by far the sweetest Monaco I've seen
57peppershaker Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Fantastic ! Now when you said you was building a Monaco, nobody said 2 door !!!
horsepower Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 SWEET! Now, I need one of those bodies to make a copy of the first win car for Kyle Petty.
Dragline Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Geez dude, must be getting old knocking em outta the park like this all the time eh? LOL VERY creative indeed. Bob
Draggon Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Thats pretty slick! Pro touring is definitely not my bag, but this and that green Duster of yours might change my mind!
Dominik Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Thats pretty slick! Pro touring is definitely not my bag, but this and that green Duster of yours might change my mind! I agree! This one makes me speechless again !
Sixx Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 That's freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gluhead Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 One of my first cars was the Coronet version of this body. Of course, mine was so rusted out that the rear of the thing was held up by a stack of 2x6's between the tops of the quarters and the leaf springs......haha. That car was embarrassing... Yours is not, though. That thing rocks.
ItsThePaint! Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Wow. Talk about making chicken nuggets from chicken sh-t, that is awesome!
DumpyDan Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Man that is nice, color, stance. Everything is just right from where I am sitting........................GREAT JOB!
whale392 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) Sean, I just gave Mark Harmon a 1975 Version of this body to convert into a Funny Car body. Man, this build makes me think twice about THAT decision! Luckily, I have a 77 2dr body I could use! Thanks for the inspiration. Edited January 26, 2012 by whale392

Man, this build makes me think twice about THAT decision! Luckily, I have a 77 2dr body I could use! Thanks for the inspiration. I had this idea for a while and really wanted the '75 Plymouth version, but they are pricey. The Dodges are easier to come by. I recently scored another '77 2 door Dodge in a trade that is gonna get a different treatment. Edited January 26, 2012 by S. Svendsen
whale392 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I got two of the Monoco 2drs, one a 75 and the other a 77. The 75 was in real bad shape, while the 77 had better overall integrity. As soon as I mentioned I picked them up to Mark, he wanted the 75 to convert to a Charger Funny Car. being as I knew I would probably never get around to fixing it, I gave it to him. Still have the 77 thought, and a Roscos' patrol car for the hood, chassis, and assorted parts (even thought I think I am going to use a later AMT B-Body for the chassis/drive train).
mcandela Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Man, You have an eye for 'not your common car' and hitting it out of the ballpark!! Really Kool Looking!!
