I started on this build friday and got it done quick! a lot of hours went into it and i'm very happy with how it turned out. The paint has tons of red metal flake and it's been clear coated three times to bury the flakes.

Thanks guys! it is definitely a tricky model to assemble... especially when it comes to the chassis parts and those three piece side mirrors! overall it's a great kit and worth getting just for the two sheets of decals!

that is one sexy van well done on it... i know what ya mean about them side mirrors i just done mine and my god there tricky to get to stay stuck lol... did you have any trouble with the dash fitting at all ???

That van is happenin' as we used to say in the 70s. Just as I remember them. Is it OOB or did you add some "accessories"?

I also remember most of them having the side pipes like those that weren't hooked up. Nice B)

Really cool! One question;why didn't you connect the side pipes to the headers and delete the stock muffler set up? Like this Tom Daniel California Vette! 2010_0119Spock0004.jpg

Thanks for all the compliments!

The dash actually fit good on mine.. You had troubles? The steering tie rods were too long to attatch to the knuckle tho, and hooking it up was tricky!

I just built it box stock (no mods) so the side pipes are dummy ones. Like Gerald said, some were fake back in the day.

yeah i've had to trim off the top of it to fit under the window... my steering linkages didn't line up they were to short lol
