Jeff Johnston Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 (edited) This is one that I envision the owner drives regularly and keeps clean...but underneath is dirt and grime any car gets from regular use. Same in the engine bay. The white is Wimbledon white (Duplicolor right out of the can), with a chevy color called Autumn gold on the roof (gasp lol) airbrushed on, and then cleared with some decanted and slightly more thinned Testors Wet Look Clear. This year my modeling resolution was not to just build muscle car after muscle car. Plus i want to add some more realism which I hope I captured by dirtying up the frame and engine a bit. Though they never used basecoat-clearcoat in 53 so I'll pretend its been repainted LOL Edited February 19, 2012 by Jeff Johnston

Foxer Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 I really like this with the road use grime and shiney paint where everyone looks.

peter31a Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Great Ford and very realistic as to what most of us keep clean and shiny and what parts we don't. Good job!
