Just another '48 Ford.......

I thought I'd try building a mild custom for a change. This is Revell's '48 Ford coupe, built about 90% out of the box. Instead of the Flathead, which IMHO is slowly becoming too "trendy", I decided on a Nailhead Buick out of the parts box. Wheels and caps/bands are from the '32 5-window. The biggest issue I had was getting it low enough...I still would like the rear to be lower, but that would require major surgery! Headlights are frenched in, and taillight bezels are made from aluminum tubing.

Paint is GM Chevy Trailblazer touch up paint purchased for $1.00 at a yard sale awhile back. Interior is red and ivory.
