Chuck Most Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Just my way of disposing of spare parts, and parts unsuitable for more 'serious' models. To wit, it is a cab and chassis from an AMT Lil Mixer (both modified), a big block Chevy engine with four turbochargers, and '26 Mack wheels/tires.
Badluck 13 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 What an awesome display of "disposing of spare parts".........I love it!!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Beautiful job, and a very unique model, Chuck, never before seen . . . so congrats, and thank you for the great inspiration.
Romell R Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Man Chuck I love it! one of these days im gonna get around to making something RAT!
peter31a Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 That is too cool for school, Chuck! That is an incredible use of leftovers! And fantastically gritty and grimy too.
Jon Cole Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 WoW! Your imagination knows no bounds! That is amazing!
puddingwrestler Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I love the awesome combo of the rickety, almost 19th century looking cab and wheels with the enormous and brutal engine!
rustymodeler Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Wow man that is SICK. I bet your arm really hurts from patting yourself on the back for that one. You are a creative genius.
Harry P. Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Wow! That's a parts box leftovers build? Like Jerred said... you, sir, are a creative genius.
Bartster Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Huh? I'm fresh out of adjectives! If this is how you dispose of spare parts, I'd like to bring mine to you & camp out by your trash can! Very imaginative work. & that's coming from a shiny guy, lol!
Sixties Sam Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Holy cow, that's a beast! Great concept, well done. Looks mean! Would those Mack tires be solid rubber in their day? The ride would shake your teeth out, but be a blast! Sam
Harry P. Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Would those Mack tires be solid rubber in their day? Yep!
Danno Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 That's just plain ! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_cool.png' alt='B)'> -
Chuck Most Posted April 8, 2012 Author Posted April 8, 2012 Holy cow, that's a beast! Great concept, well done. Looks mean! Would those Mack tires be solid rubber in their day? The ride would shake your teeth out, but be a blast! Sam Like Harry said, indeed they are. They're also quite expensive to replace, and I doubt they'd stand any chance at modern road speeds... much less against any full-on assault with the throttle.
outlaw035 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 chuck when it comes to these kinda builds u just "ROCK"....
uncle potts Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Very creative,I'm impressed and inspired at the same time.
