Brizio Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I build this accidentally almost two years ago... I had a '39 Revell Wagon Rod, complete kit painted ( I got it already painted) and a Bburago '62 Ferrari 250 Testarossa (diecast). I try to trade the Wagon Rod, but without luck... I though to trash all of them, because I was not going to build nothing with. But I start to play with them, until a spark, a idea... And I start to build this thing... Here after attaching the two bodys... The dashboard... The motor... And the finish model... Christmas Hauler... The engine bay... Was a funny project!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 THANK YOU, Brizio, what a great build, and I am happy to see the other pictures and elements. This a one-of-a-kind model for sure.
Scott Colmer Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I saw this in the contest issue. I kept going back to it. Totally blew my mind. What a great model! Love the styling! Scott
Brizio Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Thank you both!!! @Cranky, glad you like it! @Scott, about the contest issue, the wood is not contact paper, it is painted on a piece of paper. Edited April 15, 2012 by Brizio
Guest Johnny Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 "I build this accidentally" I love that opening! That is one very cool looking custom car!
JasonFL Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I saw this in the contest issue. I kept going back to it. Totally blew my mind. What a great model! Love the styling! Scott Totally blew my mind! Exactly how I feel. This thing is pretty incredible. I love everything about it, that front/rear end are just sick and those huge mysterious wheels give it that extra nasty look. Great work, I hope to one day "accidentally" build something half as good.
cobraman Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 That is one wild ride you built there. I like it !
Ramfins59 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 That is one SICK looking model... SICK in a good way... Almost looks too long, but then... nah, it's OK. I love the front end. Great job.
Brizio Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 Thanks guys! @Johnny and Jason, yep totally accidentally... And I totally enjoy it. Really fun, no plans just build... Fun fun!!!
sjordan Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Very nicely done and imaginative. I particularly like the swim platform at the stern.
Austin T Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 How many tubes of putty did you use on that!Saw it in the contest issue and loved it.
Brizio Posted April 17, 2012 Author Posted April 17, 2012 Thanks all! How many tubes of putty did you use on that! Not to much putty, I usually build as much as I can for put less putty possible.
Brizio Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 very werd car To me is more weird a Prius...
Assa9 Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Fantastic as usual what a novel and innovative concept
Greg Wann Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 http://www.angelfire.com/me4/zoltancarnovaush/Simone.html Kind of reminds me of this Duesenburg Coupe Simone.
Reeves Racing Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 That's really a nice build. It's what I think Bat Man's family car would look like. Well done. Great color.
Scale-Master Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Now that is original and artistic! Very creative!
Brizio Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 Thank you both! @ReevesRacing, maybe I will propose it on the next Batman movie...
