Olds grille from Revell '48 Ford kit. '50 Pontiac tailights. 421 Pontiac engine from AMT kit. Chrome wheels painted, leaving the trim ring and hardware chromed. Paint is Duplicolor light green metallic and Tamya Champaigne and polished Testors Wet Look Clear.

That is awesome stuff, Lyle. Did you brush or spray the wheels? I think leaving some chrome really makes the deal!

beautiful car! traditional all the way. only thing i would do is wash some black into the door and trunk jams.

Nice work, sweet build. I unfortunatly am the only one so far to not care for the color combo, but it does not detract from a fine build!

Nice job!! ...I assume the wheels were chrome and you brush painted everything but, the chrome, is that correct? ...I really like that look also.

Lyle you do such neat stuff with subtle mods and make everything just plain WORK ! I like it!

I love this. Great work Lyle. Shaving it smooth has convinced me to go that route when I get around to building mine.
