redknight Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Great job on the build! I always felt the fourth-gens looked great in race form.
krazyglu Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 That looks really cool, I saw one of these at a swap meet and completely forgot about it. This makes me want one again What did you make the front brake ducting out of or is it just painted to look so real? I love to see all the extra details on a race car.
RancheroSteve Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) Very nicely done and great job on all the added detail! I see you made the rear section removeable in the prototypically correct way. I built this kit a few years back as the Royal Oak version using the Slixx decals. Edited April 29, 2016 by RancheroSteve
Dave Van Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Very nice!! I was going to as many T/A races as I could during those years.
3men2s Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) i love it...great work...did it right. I have seen Super detail late model T/A Camaros but with "OPEN DOORS" they don't have doors,...This is the way they look. love it Edited May 9, 2012 by 3men2s
surfjunke Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Beautiful build & great detail work! Those Camaro kits sure are nice & you did an awesome build!
ffreak Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Very Cool !!! I love these cars, and these kits !!! I have a bunch of them yet to build and several already done !! I've got the Ron Fellows AER Camaro started !!
wcbrown Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) thanks you guys, i really appreciate it. i will try and get a few more shots, interior, a little more engine detail, rear end. i did do inner rear "fender" covers for the tires not in these photo's. these things BEG to be detailed that's for sure. the picture next to the last, the gold marking on the tire across from the turbo blue decal, is a stencil of the qualifying tire markings the SCCA was using at the time, i was lucky enough to get a good reference photo of it at mid-ohio. i know it's almost impossible to see from these photos, the insides of the panels are kevlar decaled.
