SQFin Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) Revell "California Wheels" Chevelle Wagon. Resin tires from "The Parts Box", wheels from my parts box (AMT '69 Chevelle I guess?), Morgan pre-wired distributor. Lowered the suspension as much as possible without cutting rear inner wheel wells. Everything else box stock. Edited May 9, 2012 by SQFin
Badluck 13 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Can't say enough on such a beautiful wagon, love the color and the the simple touch of the 'Vette wheels just makes it a perfect family Cruiser.......
Dominik Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Yes. looks very fine with those wheels. Very clean built - wel done!
mikemodeler Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 that is nice! I like the wheel choice and it has that sleeper look to it.
MyBradKeselowski Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Another outstanding build ! ! I like the color...
Guest Darkside Customs Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 That's a beautiful wagon... Nice work!
CorvairJim Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Gotta love a long roof sleeper. The color, wheels and tires are all perfect for it. If the guy in the other lane overlooks the SS hood and the 396 callout on the fender, he's gonna get SMOKED!
charlie8575 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Now, that's the type of hi-performance car I'd drive...doesn't call attention to itself, goes like a scaled cat, and still has a tremendous amount of usable space. Cool. Charlie Larkin
Bartster Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 I've been wondering what to do with this kit for years now. Seems I overlooked the obvious, lol.
Duntov Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Wow.... let's drive this one to the swap meet and fill up the back with parts!!!!! Nice build!!! Regards Bill (Duntov)
SQFin Posted May 21, 2012 Author Posted May 21, 2012 Thank you for all the comments everyone. Since I don't have time or money to build my dreams cars in 1:1, I'll do my best in 1:25, heh. Every kit I build, I try to build as I think it should be built in real life. I'm glad you like it. I could still use some constructive criticism on my modeling techniques, since I do try to improve with every kit I build and I know I have a long way to go...
