Agent G Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 My 25 year old son asked if I could replicate this: http://www.cebudanderson.com/oldcrowcar.htm He has no inteterest in model building so I said "of course". Hobby Town had a shelf full of '08 Bullitt Mustangs at a good price so I modernized the concept a bit. Some paint, decals, and yards of tape later I got this: The build and paint is on the Mustang thread in Community Builds. G
hotrod59f100 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 That's cool. I love the 1.1 and the model. Vary good paint.
Geordi08 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Nice, especially since i have the flying version on my shelf in 1/48 scale. Just wondering, what scale are the decals, 1:32?
ValvEasy Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Witcha bad self! That's some serious maskin you did, mon ami.
Agent G Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 Thank you all! Yes that was some serious masking for sure. I was crosseyed after that session. I couldn't wait to paint. Those are 1/48th scale decals from a AM company called Eaglecals. I felt that since the real plane is about twice the size of the real car, 1/48th would work. G
