High octane Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Your build is "over the top" Darryl as you did an awesome job in fit, finish, and detailing. Congrats!
W-409 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 That turned out really great! Every single detail seems to be just right and your overall building skills are so amazing that it could very well be the real car in the pictures. What did you use to make the index marking on the windows? It looks really good to me.
futurattraction Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 That turned out super-nice, Darryl! It's got to be a great feeling to have something that is representative of your 1:1 car. Thanks for sharing your build...

Niko, The markings for the car number are from Woodland Scenics (items for scale railroads) and they are dry transfer graphics. Easy enough to apply if they can be kept straight. I used a piece of drafting tape for my straightline to go by.
pharr7226 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Outstanding build. I never get enough of your shop diorama... so cool.
