Tumbler75 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 My first completed build for 2012! This truck has been a long work in progress and survived two moves and is finally finished! I started with 2 Revell-Ogram Ford F-Series Trucks. I combined them to make a replica of Centurian Custom Extended Crew Cabs of the early 1990's. It's painted DupliColor Blue and Silver Metallic. Enjoy!
bbowser Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Nice job. You'd need a 3 acre parking lot to pull a u-turn in that baby! I like it.
Tumbler75 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 Thanx guys! I love building 1 off vehicles. This won't be the last Centurian Custom replica creation. I plan in the future to do the 1987-91 Ford Bronco 4dr and research some more. Again thanx for the compliments.
Harold Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 There's something you don't see every day. I like the color combo.
Rick Schmidt Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Glad to finally see this beastie finished up and she looks good.
TooOld Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Jason , That's a very nice looking truck . Must have been a lot of work to extend the cab like that ! I'm not very educated about trucks , so can you explain what the eight square things are across the front ?
Tumbler75 Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 Hey thanx everyone! The 8 square things across the grill are actually the holding/mounting points for the grill and headlights. Here is the Build up of the truck. Enjoy! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35978&hl=%2B1990+%2Bford+%2Bf350+%2Bextended+%2Bcrew+%2Bcab

Tumbler75 Posted July 14, 2012 Author Posted July 14, 2012 Thanx Bryan. It took some time to get things right, but the outcome was well worth the headaches and trial and errors. Thanx to everyone who has commented either here or in the Workbench Section.
