UNDERSIDE DETAILS...

I added Traction Bars from a Polar Lights Willy Wild and a 16th scale oil pan.

I also added a 16th scale drive shaft. Back View...

Then I added Shocks from a 16th scale MPC Cobra.. They come in 2 pieces, so I used the small halves and glued them to the front supports.

The other halves of the shocks were glued to the rear supports. The gas tank is from the Pie Wagon.

Next, I need to figure out the Exhaust System... B)

Just keeps getting better with every installment!! You're wearing my eyes out with your wild imaginative builds, this one is no different! Did I say I love it. That engine scores like a 120% on the coolness factor scale!!!!!

I cut 2 pieces of plastic tubing, with one end cut on a 45 degree angle.

I painted them Aluminum and glued them in place!

BODY DETAILS!!!

The Rear Bumper/Tail lights were kept stock, but painted a little differently.

The Front Bumper/Grill had little Bullet Tail lights added, that were painted flat black.

DSCN6571G.jpg

I needed more "Glueing Surface" on the Rear Bumper and the Engine.

So I added a piece of sheet plastic inside the Bumper and Engine.

This allowed me to attach the Bumper, very easily, without getting glue on the paint job!

Here are the "Super Fuzz" Tires and Smokey Base attached to the Gasser!!!

The Bumper and Headlights are in place.

I painted the area behind the clear headlight lenses white...

Here is the Rear Bumper in place.

I painted the Smokey Base Flat White, then I put on a coat of Black "The Detailer" Wash. I wiped off most of the Wash with a damp paper towel.

Great Job, Ira! I like the chassis work, everything looks just so sweet and clean. Keep up the good work! ;)

And Pat's Idea sounds very good too. It would be very cool.

Thanks Niko!

Glad you like it... B)
